The Story
As an affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy since 1947, this organization provides education, programs, and residential services to people of all abilities and backgrounds across South Florida. Operating from six locations with programs delivered at 60 community sites, they advocate for children and adults living with unique abilities or social inequalities.
The Challenge
Complexity overwhelmed their brand and mission. With siloed and competing programs across multiple counties, their verbose old mission statement ran 65 words and failed to inspire. Their tagline “Creating the future… one person at a time” felt generic and institutional. The organization needed clarity and focus to unite their diverse services under one powerful vision that celebrated capability rather than emphasizing disability.
The Bold Breakthrough
DRMTM transformed complexity into clarity with a complete brand evolution. The new mission — concise, powerful, and inspiring — advocates for “a full, rewarding life beyond limits.” “We See Ability” replaced their outdated tagline, shifting the narrative from limitation to potential. The vibrant logo features overlapping circles in bright turquoise and sunshine yellow, visually representing connection, inclusion, and possibility. This modern identity system unifies all locations while maintaining flexibility for regional variations. The messaging framework centers on seeing promise and potential, practicing “love in action,” and honoring people of all abilities for enriching life’s shared journey. This isn’t just a rebrand — it’s a declaration that everyone deserves to live life beyond limits, with their abilities seen, celebrated, and supported.
