For years, Nonprofits First has been the trusted backbone supporting nonprofit organizations across the region—providing accreditation, leadership training, and operational support that keeps missions moving forward. Their impact was undeniable, their reputation solid. But as they stood ready to expand their reach and own their leadership role in the sector, something needed to change. The organization that set the standard for nonprofit excellence needed a brand that looked and felt like a standard-setter.

The Challenge

Nonprofits First had quietly become essential to the nonprofit sector’s success, yet their visual identity and messaging didn’t match the bold, future-forward organization they had become. Leadership recognized they were ready to step up — to fully claim their role as the premier resource for nonprofit operational excellence and extend their influence beyond their local community. They needed a brand evolution that would inspire confidence, capture their momentum, and reflect the incomparable spirit of the cause organizations they serve.

The Bold Breakthrough

DRMTM worked alongside a dedicated committee to reimagine Nonprofits First from the inside out. The result is energized and purposeful: a fresh logo paired with the rallying tagline “Setting the Standard” establishes their leadership position. An expanded color palette of bold blues, warm oranges, and confident purples captures the progressive spirit of their work. Refined mission, vision, and values — including “The Community Circle,” “Setting the Standard,” and “Bold Leadership”— provide clear guiding principles. The evolved brand positions Nonprofits First exactly where they belong: at the forefront of the nonprofit sector, empowering every cause to achieve exceptional performance and measurable impact.
