The Story

This vital organization exists to raise the foster care experience to its highest promise, serving as the critical connection between the foster system and families who need support, services, education, and basic necessities. Their mission centers on promoting fostering as positive, healing, rewarding, and full of hope and opportunity for the 1,500 children in foster care throughout Palm Beach County.

The Challenge

Despite their life-changing work enriching lives impacted by foster care, Friends of Foster Children’s brand failed to reflect the brightness and inspiration of the children and families they serve. Their identity felt institutional and heavy rather than hopeful and uplifting. They needed a brand that celebrated the positive nature of their programs while acknowledging the serious work of healing trauma and creating happy childhoods.

The Bold Breakthrough

DRMTM created a brand bursting with childhood joy and possibility. The playful logo features “FOSTER CHILDREN” in a rainbow of vibrant colors, and a new tagline, “Fostering Happy Childhoods” became their promise to the community. The visual system includes whimsical patterns and graphics that capture the wonder and energy of youth. The brand radiates the core truth that real families are formed when people bond together to nurture and care for one another.
