With a 35-year legacy of keeping families together through adversity, they place children at the center of family, home, and community to create lasting positive change.

Despite their unique child-centered, strengths-based approach to complex social issues, Families First’s brand looked and sounded like many other local family services nonprofits. They needed an identity that reflected their distinctive philosophy while embodying the diversity, inclusion, and progressive spirit that defines their work.

The logo’s interlocking circles represent the vital bonds between child, family, and community — bringing life and positive energy to every touchpoint. “Strong in Every Way” became more than a tagline; it’s a rallying cry that positions family resilience as the foundation for healthy communities. The messaging framework — from “Centered” to “Resilient” to “Empowered” to “Encircled” — transforms how families see themselves and their potential.
